The Art of the Croissant - Ventura

Our head baker Jarrett teaches the art of dough lamination behind our flakey, buttery croissants. This course brings participants behind the counter and into our bakery to learn the art behind creating the perfect croissant. Students will learn techniques to be used with standard kitchen equipment at home to replicate the delicious bakery items that are available at the cafe. Wine, cheese and charcuterie will be provided. Participants will be given a variety of treats to take home as well as a copy of instructions from the course. Due to the size of our bakery area, space is limited.

This class will be held at our Ventura location at 390 S Mills Rd. 

Please note: Participants must be 16 years of age or older*


Class must be cancelled 48 hours prior to class start time in order to receive full refund to your credit card or reschedule the class to a different date.
For parties of 4+ please do so 72 hours prior to the class start time.
For any cancellation received with less than 48 hours notice, we will not be able to issue a full or partial refund *. Guests will be able to reschedule a new class to attend by contacting for a discounted 50% price.  
If we are forced to cancel an event due to weather or other events outside of our control, Cafe Ficelle will offer guests credit for another class.
